NOTES ON ROLES:
- An individual may hold more than one role.
- A "primary role" is the job that an individual has on a more-or-less
permanent basis -- usually for the duration of one or more projects. A
"secondary role" is an additional role that an individual assumes during
a particular phase of the project or for the performance of a particular
process. For example, a person whose primary role is "Product
Development Lead" may also, as a secondary role, act as a "Configuration
Control Board Member" or an "Inspection Moderator." Secondary roles can
float from one primary role holder to another, depending on the
circumstances of the project.
The roles listed here are those that are usually held as primary roles.
- Managers and Leads should view the assets for
roles they supervise in addition to their own.
