Process Asset Status Definitions

Each process asset listed in the PAL is in one of the following five states of development. The table below explains these states in greater detail.

582 rescinded This asset has been "un-baselined" by the Code 582 CCB.

Not started No significant work has been done on this asset.

In progress Work has begun on this asset. Note: For Codes 580 and 588, this status replaces both the "outline" and "draft" status designations used previously.

Final A final draft of the asset has been completed. Final drafts still must be submitted for EPG and Branch review. For tools, the final prototype has been completed. NOTE: Some final drafts are posted in the PAL. These documents are version-controlled, but not yet CCB-approved.

EPG approved This asset is version-controlled by the EPG.

CCB approved The CCB (ISD, FSB, or other 580 CCB) has formally approved this asset.

588 approved The asset has been approved for publication by Code 588 and is under 588 version control.

300 approved This asset has been approved for publication by Code 300 and is under Code 300 version control.
8
GSFC approved This asset is available via GDMS.
