This WBS checklist provides a list of WBS elements that will normally cover all aspects of a development project. In most cases, the list is much longer that needed. The development WBS checklist is intended for use by development projects while the acquisition WBS is intended for use by acquisition projects.
Use this WBS checklist to help identify the elements of work to be performed on your project. After assessing your description of work and list of products to be delivered, review each item on the WBS checklist to determine applicability to your project.
Include each item that applies in your project WBS. Alternatively, you may roll the associated work into another WBS element by modifying the description of that element to include the work.
This will help you to ensure that all work required for the effort is included in the WBS, in the schedule, and in the cost estimate. |
